What We Do Moving On Change Programme Care Leaver Offer Since summer 2023, we have travelled together through the 'Moving On' Change Programme. At its heart, 'Moving On' has been about listening: listening to the voices of care experienced young people, listening to practitioners who walk alongside them, and listening to the wider system that seeks to improve outcomes. Through workshops, reflective spaces and shared learning, we have created a place where honesty, challenge and hope have been held together. Based on what we have heard, we know there is a need for more clear, accessible information about young people's rights and entitlements. Below is our first attempt at pulling together what is out there at the moment - what each local authority provides for young people leaving care. A few caveats - there is currently no requirement for local authorities to put this information online, so we will keep updated as best we can, but you can always contact your local authority directly to ensure you have the right information. Staf is not the only source for this information. It is also worth noting that some local authorities are smaller than others, and some may choose to do things differently; this is part of the reason why we don't have one consistent offer across Scotland.
