Ruth is the Participation and Rights Manager here at Staf. She has a degree in Community Education and over 15 years' experience working across the voluntary sector with children and families.

Ruth has worked across the UK to ensure hidden voices are amplified in the UNCRC reporting process, and is the former Youth Justice Lead for Youth Justice Voices, Staf’s national participation project for care and justice experienced young people. Ruth hosts the Participation Practitioners' Forum and Participation Network alongside its committed steering group members. Ruth connected with the care community and Staf’s members to lead on the co-design and delivery of our Participation and Rights Strategy.

In her spare time, Ruth likes trying new things, going to gigs, and spending time with family, friends and her border terrier, Murphy.
